Event Details

The Birkenhead Park Five Mile Road Race began in 1972 and has been run every year since, with a virtual event during lockdown in 2020.

The 2022 race is on Tuesday July 19th starting at 7.00pm outside St Mary's Cricket Club in the Lower Park (near the visitor centre), In 2022 your race fee will include:

  • Chip timing on an accurate course
  • A beautiful medal to commemorate the 50th anniversary
  • £100 prize for course record for both male & female runners
  • First male and female finishers prize (Ron Hill Gear)
  • Runners Hub virtual £10 voucher which can claimed by all race finishers (In Shop on request) 
  • Free professional photos
  • Entertainment for adults and children
  • A kid's 1 mile race with medals (6pm)
